Hours: Mon-Fri 9:30 am -5:30 pmCarriage House Paper is excited about its move in July 2007 to a great space in the Williamsburg section of Brooklyn.
The new space now houses our showroom for handmade paper, papermaking supplies and equipment and is our major teaching and papermaking facility.
Shannon Brock, art director of Carriage House Paper, maintains the active papermaking studio, called Gaptoothed Studio and continues to collaborate with Carriage House Paper. Donna Koretsky continues to use the paper studio on Guernsey St., at the former location.
An added feature to the new space is an exciting display of traditional papermaking from remote parts of the world, on loan from the Museum of International Paper History in Brookline, Massachusetts. The current exhibition is “Before Paper” and the exhibitions will change annually.
We encourage papermakers and artists to visit our paper studio, paper showroom, and museum exhibition (by appointment). Business hours for telephone and mail orders are Monday through Friday, from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm (EST). Supplies may be picked up here during our regular business hours, but please telephone first.
