HANDMADE PAPER PRICES

All of these papers have been sized, to permit writing or printing on the paper. The papers are suitable for printmaking, collage, calligraphy, and bookmaking. We usually have on hand all of the sizes listed, either in bleached abaca (off-white), unbleached abaca (light beige), cotton (white), and a variety of pastel colors.

Most of our paper, however, is made to order. Call us to find out what we have in stock.

When ordering, please specify fiber, color, size, and weight (lightweight, medium or heavy). There is an additional 25 % charge for heavy-weight papers. An asterisk (*) indicates 10 sheet minimum for any one size or color, plus a $20.00 packing/shipping charge for most orders. We ship all our paper flat. Shipping/packing fee, most orders: $5.

CUSTOM PAPER ORDERS (call for price quote)

Most of our paper is made to order. Paper for books, portfolios, wedding invitations, announcements; paper in custom sizes and irregular shapes; paper made from exotic fibers; translucent and textured paper; huge sprayed sheets. We can make paper in a range of light fast colors: grays, browns, reds, blues, purples, etc. in either pale or bright hues, even paper in an intense black color. We do color matching ($30 per color). We also do custom watermarks.

NEATO NOTECARDS

We especially enjoy creating these special papers. On one side are watermarked patterns of layered pulp, in earth tones, a bit reminiscent of cave drawings. The other side of the sheet is off-white, suitable for writing on. Each sheet is slightly different.

SPECIALTY PAPERS

These are highly decorative papers, for use in book arts, screen making, or any purpose for which an unusual paper is desired. Most of the papers are made from a combination of abaca and cotton pulps, colored with Aardvark pigments and luster colorants.

Violet Moonlight - beige base sheet with scattered strands of highly iridescent violet fibers.

Midnight Gold - black base sheet covered with a thin brilliant gold sheet.

Blue Cascade - a triple dipped sheet, containing waves of blue, orange, and tan pulp. Each sheet is slightly different, and interesting on both sides.

Sugarplum Sparkle - Beige background with tiny strands of lustrous pink, blue and silver fibers running throughout the sheet. Same on both sides.

Speckle -coagulated strands of brightly colored pulp.

Iridescent Crinkle Paper - our most popular specialty paper. Made from abaca, the sheets have been continuously folded and flattened to produce an extremely strong "crinkle" paper. Available in iridescent violet or brilliant gold. Other colors may be available.

We have in stock all of the smaller sized sheets. No minimum order for them. However, there is a 10 sheet minimum order for the larger size.

BAG O'SCRAPS

Ideal for collage, you will receive 1/4 pound of assorted Carriage House handmade paper seconds, in a variety of pulps, fibers, colors, sizes and textures. Comes in an 9" x 11" bag (some of the sheets will be folded).
