ARRIAGE HOUSE PAPER WORKSHOPS

Below is a list of regularly offered workshops.  We conduct these classes year-round and dates will be posted as they are finalized.  If you would like to be notified of any upcoming workshops, please send us your current mailing or e-mail information along with which class you are interested in taking.  All of the classes can be scheduled for private groups.


DIRECTIONS

Carriage House Paper in Brooklyn, New York is located in the Williamsburg neighborhood, just over the Williamsburg Bridge from Manhattan. It is close to the L subway lines and parking is easy.

REFUND POLICY

If you cannot attend a session for which you have reserved a space, let us know immediately; if we can fill your space we will refund your tuition, minus $100.00.


STAFF

Donna Koretsky Co-founder of Carriage House; B.A. in Art, UC/Santa Cruz. Donna has done field research in papermaking techniques throughout the world. Her sculptural works have been exhibited internationally.

Shannon Brock Art Director of Carriage House; BFA, Kansas City Art Institute, papermaker and artist. She has taught papermaking throughout the eastern US. Her work has been exhibited nationally.

Elaine Koretsky Co-founder of Carriage House; A.B., Cornell University. Elaine is the author or editor of six books and numerous articles dealing with technical or historical aspects of papermaking. She has been involved in field research in traditional papermaking throughout the world. Elaine ia a frequent guest lecturer and instructor at institutions worldwide.

Szilvia Revesz assistant at Carriage House Paper, artist and teacher. Szilvia has been pushing the parameters of marbling for many years, using handmade paper as well as other paper alternatives.
